The Sunday before Christmas, four of us from Senior High brought food and gifts over to a needy family we had sponsored.  There was a boy, a girl and their mom. When we got to their apartment, we realized they had nothing.  I have so much, and I wished we could have done more.  We sat in the parking lot afterwards and wondered what else we could bring to them. We decided to meet again the next day and get others from our class to come help us donate more stuff.  A lot of the Senior High came and we even put together an artificial tree in the parking lot. The people driving by looked at us funny, but oh well.  We put the tree in the back of Brian's truck and drove over to their house to give them more food and gifts and most importantly the tree. The looks on their faces made me so happy to be helping out.  I am happy that we could help do such a good thing and make the family so happy.  We worked as a group and were doing God's work.
