LSMS - Circle of Friends

We are excited about our new ministry called "Circle of Friends". This ministry is a little different from our "Family to Family Ties" ministry in that we connect 2-4 individuals with a struggling family. The family develops goals and the "Circle of Friends" meets with the family once a month to support, empower, and encourage the family. We have already connected two individuals with a support system and hope to connect more.  If you have any questions, please contact Lee Stadler at 654-4539.

From  LSMS - We are located in the Victory Community Center at 5949 E. University Drive, southwest corner of University and Recker.  Our phone number is the same 480-654-4539.  We see clients on Mondays, Wednesdays & Friday from 9AM - 11:30 AM.  by appointment only.  At this location, we are no longer accepting clothing, but provide food boxes for clients and will continue to accept non-perishable food items for distribution  to our families.
Our second location at First Lutheran Church is open for families needing food and Family to Family Ties Mentoring on Tuesday and Thursday mornings, 9-11:30 AM. Their phone number is (480) 620-1833.

JobNet Neighbors Need Your Help!

JobNet has been working this past year with many church members and assisting them in their job hunting skills.

There are many “hidden” jobs that are not advertised in newspapers or on the internet.  These jobs are advertised through word-of-mouth, from employee to employee.   We are trying to find these hidden jobs so that we may better help members of our congregations.

If you are an employer with position openings, please contact one of our JobNet employee counselor  Clay Cline at 602.424.0584.  If you are working for a firm that has an HR Department, please contact him and ask him to fax position openings to JobNet at 602.424.0580.

If you have any questions, please contact Clay.   He will be glad to work with you or your Human Resources representative.
